Crowns
A crown is like a cap covering all visible portions of your tooth.
Tooth conditions requiring a crown:
-
Severe tooth decay spreading over large areas of tooth. In these cases dental fillings cannot restore acceptable long term strength.
-
Root canal treated teeth. After a root canal your tooth requires special reinforcement and a complete seal against bacteria.
-
Root canal teeth without crowns often fracture to root level and require extraction
Bridges
Bridges are recommended for people who are missing one or more teeth and have a strong stable bite.

-
Neighboring teeth are prepared as anchors for your bridge and must be stable and healthy.
-
The custom made bridge is handed into place and is not removable providing a natural look.
Fillings
Cavities are decayed areas of your tooth that turn into tiny openings or holes. To stop decay and keep your mouth healthy it is important to remove decay and replace lost tooth structure with a filling. We use white fillings to restore your tooth to normal function and shape.
Dentures
-
Full dentures
-
Partial dentures
-
Implant supported dentures, removable and fixed.
Root Canals
We ensure you are properly diagnosed, only providing root canal treatment when needed.
Your tooth will be carefully managed and fully numbed in order to provide a painless experience. Root canals are necessary when cavities have become very deep and close to the inner nerve of your tooth where complete removal of decay cannot be done. Root canals are also necessary when the tooth becomes abscessed due to previous large/deep restorations, cracks or trauma.

Mouth Guards
Dental mouth guards are designed to protect your teeth and gums from clenching/grinding while you sleep.
Clenching/grinding can cause or worsen:
-
TMJ disorder (jaw joint)
-
Damage your teeth (cracks, chips)
-
Cause receding gums (expose roots)
-
Create tooth sensitivity
-
Cause headaches and facial pain
Sleep apnea - snoring
Special appliances can be made to open and maintain your airrway while you sleep and can often treat mild to moderate symptoms without the need for a CPAP machine. These appliances also treat snoring.
